SHORT DESCRIPTION
A sculptural exploration of form and negative space, the Portal Pendant creates an irregular opening within a continuous flow of polished silver. Organic and architectural at once, its fluid outline frames an empty centre, creating the impression of a passage through solid metal.
THE DESIGN
Inspiration: Inspired by the idea of a threshold between solid form and open space, the Portal Pendant explores the tension between the material and the void it surrounds.
Form: A continuous, asymmetrical silver form curves around an irregular central opening. Its rounded contours swell and narrow along the perimeter, creating subtle variations in thickness and an organic, undulating silhouette.
Details: The open centre gives the pendant visual lightness while emphasizing the substantial, sculptural quality of its outer form. Gentle irregularities along the perimeter prevent the shape from feeling rigid or geometric, while the polished finish accentuates its flowing contours and reflective surfaces.
Collection: Part of Vesper — The Alchemist, a collection exploring liquid silver and shadow. The Portal Pendant expresses Vesper’s VOID language: form defined as much by the space it encloses as by the silver itself.

Caring for Sterling Silver
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time through exposure to air, moisture, cosmetics, and other environmental factors.
To care for your jewellery:
Store in a dry place when not being worn. Keep away from perfumes, lotions, household chemicals, and chlorine. Remove before swimming, bathing, or using cleaning products. Clean gently with a soft jewellery-polishing cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
