SHORT DESCRIPTION
A sculptural take on the classic hoop, the Melt Hoops transform a familiar silhouette into a study of silver in motion. Rounded hoops appear to soften and stretch along their lower edges, giving way to a series of fluid drops that create a playful, molten-metal silhouette.
THE DESIGN
- Inspiration: Inspired by molten silver as it gathers along the edge of a form before stretching and dripping under gravity, the Melt Hoops explore the transformation of a classic jewellery shape.
- Form: A rounded hoop with an organically irregular lower edge, from which several elongated drops extend downward. The varying lengths and positions of the drops create a cascading silhouette while maintaining the recognizable hoop structure.
- Details: The contrast between the smooth circular hoop and the irregular dripping edge gives the design its distinctive character. Multiple drops create movement and dimension, while the polished silver surface catches light across the rounded forms.
- Collection: Part of Vesper — The Alchemist, a collection exploring liquid silver and shadow. The Melt Hoops express Vesper’s MELT language: familiar forms softened, stretched, and transformed as though the silver itself has begun to liquefy.

Melt hoops are a strong statement earring on their own but can also be paired with studs from the Vesper collection for extra drama.

Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time through exposure to air, moisture, cosmetics, and other environmental factors.
To care for your jewellery:
Store in a dry place when not being worn.
Keep away from perfumes, lotions, household chemicals, and chlorine.
Remove before swimming, bathing, or using cleaning products.
Clean gently with a soft jewellery-polishing cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
