SHORT DESCRIPTION
A playful study in molten silver, the Drip Studs transform the familiar stud earring into a pair of sculptural drops that appear to stretch and pool from the ear. Compact but substantial, their rounded forms bring a touch of liquid-metal drama to an everyday silhouette.
THE DESIGN
- Inspiration: Inspired by the movement of molten silver as it gathers, stretches, and begins to drip, the Drip Studs capture a moment of transformation between solid metal and flowing form.
- Form: A compact, elongated silhouette with a rounded lower mass and a narrower, gently tapering upper section. The shape creates the impression of silver being pulled downward from the ear.
- Details: The softly swelling form and smooth, polished surface give the studs their distinctive molten character. The subtle variation in width from top to bottom creates movement while keeping the design clean and wearable.
- Collection: Part of Vesper — The Alchemist, a collection exploring liquid silver and shadow. The Drip Studs express Vesper’s MELT language: forms that stretch, pool, and transform as though caught in motion.

FIT & WEAR
This design is meant to be small and delicate on its own, or paired with larger earrings if you have multiple ear piercings. Small enough to be worn higher up the ear as well.

Caring for Sterling Silver
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time through exposure to air, moisture, cosmetics, and other environmental factors.
To care for your jewellery:
Store in a dry place when not being worn.
Keep away from perfumes, lotions, household chemicals, and chlorine.
Remove before swimming, bathing, or using cleaning products.
Clean gently with a soft jewellery-polishing cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface.
